Terms of service
1. Who we are
This website is operated by LeatherCo London Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17414478. Our registered office is 21 Southridge Rise, Crowborough, TN6 1LG, United Kingdom. You can contact us at hello@leathercolondon.co.uk.
2. These terms
These terms apply to every order placed on leathercolondon.co.uk. Please read them before ordering. If you are buying as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.
3. Your order
After you place an order you will receive an email acknowledging it. That email is not acceptance. The contract between us is formed when we email to confirm your order has been dispatched. If we cannot accept your order, for example because an item is out of stock or a price has been shown in error, we will tell you and will not charge you.
4. Products
Our own-range pieces are made from natural leather. Grain, markings and shade vary from hide to hide and are part of the material, not a fault. We take care to show colours accurately, but screens differ, so the colour of your piece may differ slightly from what you see on screen. Measurements are approximate.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken when you place your order and is processed securely by our payment providers; we do not see or store your full card details.
6. Delivery
UK delivery is free. Orders are normally dispatched within one working day and usually arrive within two to three working days of dispatch; express delivery is available at checkout. For delivery outside the UK, please contact us before ordering. The items become your responsibility once they are delivered to the address you give us. See our Delivery page for details.
7. Cancellations and returns
If you are a consumer you may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, as set out in our Refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Faulty items
If an item is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Contact us with your order number and a photo and we will put it right.
9. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or for business losses; our products are sold for domestic and private use. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
10. Your information
We use your personal information as set out in our Privacy policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you have a complaint, please email us first and we will try to resolve it quickly.
